MEN’S MORNING BIBLE STUDY
TUESDAYS OR THURSDAYS, 6:45 to 8:00 a.m.
Ongoing — Join us anytime!
DEUTERONOMY: BECOMING HOLY PEOPLE, a study guide by Stephen D. Eyre, is our current resource, running through mid-November. The author leads you to explore the story told in Deuteronomy—the story of God’s people seeking after Him. As you trace their journey—experiencing their forward progress, their detours and their obstacles—you, too, will learn to follow God more closely.
The study is offered in two locations: Tuesday mornings in the Fireside Room and Thursday mornings in Conference Room 1. The sessions run simultaneously every week, so if you need to miss one, you can attend the other instead. The cost of the workbook is $7. If you have any questions, please contact Anton Hertle, Acting Coordinator of Men’s Ministries, at antonhertle@cox.net.

Simultaneous Adults’ and Children’s Classes
On Matthew 5-7
Wednesdays, July 10 to August 28 • 6:30 to 8 p.m.
YOUTH AND ADULTS, LED BY PASTOR DERYK — The Sermon on the Mount. Some think it was the greatest sermon ever preached. Join us as we think through some of the most challenging and counter-cultural words ever spoken. Will you be wise and build your house on the Rock, or will you foolishly build it on the sand? Join us on Wednesdays in the Meetinghouse, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., from July 10 through August 28. To register for childcare for preschoolers, call Debbie at 860.529.1575, x303.
CHILDREN — A children’s Bible study, for those who have completed kindergarten or grade 1, 2, 3, or 4, is being held at the same time and dates as the adult study of Jonah—6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 10 through August 28, held in the Worship/Fireside Rooms.
The children’s topic will be the same as for the youth and adults—The Sermon on the Mount. Our Children’s Ministries team leads this valuable class. And have your children bring their friends!
