Midweek Connect

We all want to be in a place “where everybody knows your name.” But we also want to know more about the God who loves us and how we can follow Him. That’s what’s happening at First Church on Wednesday nights—a place to connect with others and with God.

THE COMMUNITY DINNER is served Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:15, in the renovated Keith Jones Hall and is both tasty and nutritious. Cost is $5 for one, or $10 for a family. You don’t need to register—just come!

THE MENU for Wednesday, April 19 — Burt's famous meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, bread, and dessert.  There will be a vegetarian option and children's menu as well. Come have dinner with the family!

Middle School PF is our youth group for this age. We have a blast at Middle School PF. Our time together involves games, worship, inspiring messages, and small-group time to help kids process what Jesus is seeking to do in their lives. Middle School PF meets in the Youth Room, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

High School “The Way” is our youth group for high school kids. We are a community of Jesus followers, growing together. Each week is filled with laughter, worship, fellowship, and an opportunity to explore more fully what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Every other week, we break up into small groups—Bromans (for guys) and Reign (for girls)—to dig deeper into God’s Word and prayer. The Way meets from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in M107, located in the Lower Level of the Marsh building (as shown below).

CHURCHWIDE PRAYER TIME is normal for April 5 — 6:30 to 7:30 p.m, in the Meetinghouse. We focus on the church’s mission and our mission to the world. All are invited to participate. Following Holy Week, starting April 19, prayer time will be 6:15 to 6:45, in the Prayer Room, followed by new classes elsewhere.
