Midweek Connect

WEDNESDAYS

We all want to be in a place “where everybody knows your name.” But we also want to know more about the God who loves us and how we can follow Him. That’s what’s happening at First Church on Wednesday nights—a place to connect with others and with God.

DINNER

THE COMMUNITY DINNER is served Wednesdays, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., in Keith Jones Hall, and is both tasty and nutritious. Cost is $5 for one, or $10 for a family. You don’t need to register—just come!

THE MENU for Wednesday, February 21, features baked chicken with rice, vegetable, salad, a kids’ meal, and brownies.

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time, when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has two distinct elements: A seminar with experts and a support group with focus. Contact Caring Ministries, 860.529.1575, ext 210. Click here for more details.
