Is Jesus relevant to life today? Why do I need God in my life? I think religion is created by people and just leads to strife. How is Christianity any different?

Alpha addresses those and many more questions that seekers and even new Christians might have. Those who are mature in their faith will also be richly rewarded.

The Community Dinner, served every Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:15, is part of First Church’s Midweek Connect evening and is FREE to Alpha participants. There is no Midweek Connect on April 11, but a 5:30 Alpha dinner WILL be in Keith Jones Hall, after which all participants will move to the Church Parlor for the Alpha program.

Terry Shook is the Alpha Director, and he would be delighted to answer any questions you may have. You can reach him by email or at 860.539.4535. For other details, or to register, please call Marilyn Danielson at 860.529.1575, x213.

Millions have come to Christ around the world through Alpha, including many right here at First Church, because it is intellectually rigorous, emotionally honest, and spiritually powerful. Guests really experience how great is the love the Father has lavished on us, and it changes their attitudes. Alpha provides an opportunity for people to feel loved where they are at.
