FEATURING

Christmas Cantata
for Choir, Brass & Organ
Daniel Pinkham

Ellen Gilson Voth, Conductor

Our annual Christmas Concert will feature the exuberant Christmas Cantata for choir, brass and organ by Daniel Pinkham (1923-2006), and choral works including There Is No Rose by Philip Stopford and Lullee, Lullay by local composer and organist Peter Niedmann. Lullee, Lullay “is what every Christmas concert...needs more of: a ‘lullaby’ combining a poignant and elegant text with music that is thoughtful, well wrought, and appealing” (The American Organist).
Our own Dr. Ellen Gilson Voth will conduct, and there will be carols for all to sing! Enjoy the exquisite music performed by the First Church Choir, Cantata Singers and Carol Choir, with brass and organ.

Childcare will be provided for those up to age 8. A free-will offering will be received.
