We invite you to join us for this year’s Women’s Retreat, Altar’d, as we discover the secret for living in freedom through the power of the Resurrection.

The prophet Isaiah wrote:

The Lord will guide you continually,
Giving you water when you are dry,
     and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
Like an ever-flowing spring.
      —Isaiah 58:11 (NLT)

Sometimes the heart feels parched. Parched for peace, for hope, for companionship. Sometimes, the heart needs to be Altar’d—changed on the altar of worship.

This year’s Women’s Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with the Lord, grow in your faith, and deepen your relationships. Leave behind the tribulations of your daily life and treat yourself to a time of enrichment and spiritual refreshment.

We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Kennedy Dean, international speaker and bestselling author, whose life-transforming messages are a catalyst for being Altar’d. Jennifer is the Kentucky State Director for the United States National Prayer Council, and her book Heart’s Cry has been named a National Day of Prayer recommended resource.

The retreat will be held at First Church Friday evening and Saturday,  March 16 and 17. There is no overnight accommodation; if needed, please make your own arrangements. The cost of $75 covers the full retreat, with catered lunch on Saturday and hearty snacks Friday evening. For the full schedule, or to register (with options), please pick up a brochure at church. To register for the full retreat, click here.
