YEARLY BIBLE READING PLAN

The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 119:2, “Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart.” The Psalmist understood that the way to follow the Lord was to constantly read and pray through His Word.

This guide is meant to help you do that. It is a plan to read through the Bible in one year. However, if you would like to read only through the New Testament and Psalms, then you can choose to read only from the first two columns.

In order to prevent the frustration of falling behind, each month consists of only 25 readings. Use the extra days to pray and think about what you read earlier in the week or month.

As you immerse yourself in the daily reading, ask yourself a few questions. What is God saying to you in this text? What is God saying about Himself in this text? Is there a verse that speaks to you that you need to memorize?

Be aware of how God is inviting you to respond. How is He leading you to pray? Is there a reason to praise God or give thanks? Is there a sin you need to confess or something you need to change?

Allow the reading to guide you into prayer and praise. May God bless you this year with His wonderful Presence as He speaks to you through His Word.

Happy Reading!
