We have many ministries available for you to be involved in. From helping in the children's ministry to greeting newcomers as they arrive at the front doors, serving is a great way to help make this church your home and deepen your relationship with Christ.
Contemporary Worship Team
Whether you are an advanced player/singer, or a beginner looking to learn how to play with a worship team, the contemporary worship team is for you!
We rehearse every Thursday evening from
7:30 PM-9:30 PM and sing Sunday mornings beginning at 9:00 AM. All are welcome to visit our practices!

First Church Choir
Do you enjoy singing? Know the basics of music-reading? Our First Church Choir welcomes new members-no audition necessary. In fact, come to a rehearsal and audition us, and see how you like singing with our friendly and supportive choir family. We are just beginning to rehearse Christmas music you will love.

Audio/Visual Team
Do you have an interest and background in tech? The AV team might be the perfect fit for you! We are mainly responsible for the
10:30 AM Contemporary Service and use a rotating schedule to determine what two people will be serving each week.
AV Jobs include controlling the slides, running the livestream, and sometimes utilizing the soundboard if needed.

Sunday Morning Childcare
Do you love working with kids? Are you interested in building up the next generation at First Church? We are always looking for volunteers to help with childcare during our Sunday morning services.
Currently, we are in need of preschool teachers once a month at either 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM.

Coffee Bar
Do you enjoy hospitality and making coffee?
We are always looking for volunteers for our coffee bar! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Diane Galloway at care@firstchurch.org.
Bakers Needed
Bakers are needed for our coffee hour on the first Sunday of each month. Fresh baked goods and fresh fruit & crackers are welcomed. Items can be brought to the coffee bar in the Wells Fellowship Area prior to the start of the service.
Thanksgiving Meals
Once again, we will be preparing and sending out Thanksgiving meals to folks in our community who are in need. There are many ways to become involved.
1) We need help identifying recipients for our meals. We hope to send out as many as 200 meals.
2) We will be accepting monetary donations to offset the cost of supplies. Checks can be made out to First Church of Christ, designated “Thanksgiving Meal.”
3) You can participate as a delivery person bringing a meal and a greeting to recipients.
4) You can help with the preparation of the food. Meals will be sent out Wednesday evening Nov 27.
